Theo Walcott

Blessed with blistering pace and a fine finishing touch, the one major weakness in Arsenal forward Theo Walcott's repertoire is his unerring ability to get injured.

A fully fit Walcott is an almost unplayable beast, both for the Gunners and for England. It's just that a fully fit Walcott is also a rather rare beast.

A product of Southampton's almost legendary academy, Walcott signed for Arsenal in 2006 and became England's youngest ever player in the same year – apparently celebrating his call-up to England's World Cup squad that year by playing a game of Monopoly.

Highlights since then include a superb hat-trick away against Croatia and an FA Cup winners' medal in 2014.

Off the pitch, his family has no connection (despite numerous rumours) with the West Indian cricket legend Sir Clyde Walcott. But the partner of his aunt is the film director David Yates, which led to his family appearing in the 2007 release Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Sadly for Theo, his Arsenal commitments meant he missed the chance for a moment of movie magic.
